About the project

The project focuses on the development of an innovative 5-axis intraoral robotic system for precise tooth preparation by grinding, as well as an educational simulator that combines virtual reality and haptic feedback. Through industrial research and experimental development activities, technological solutions intended for application in dental medicine are developed and tested.

Project objective

The objective of the project is to develop and validate an innovative intraoral robotic system for precise and automated tooth preparation, as well as an educational platform for improving the practical skills of students and doctors of dental medicine. The project also strengthens research and development capacities and cooperation between the business and scientific research sectors.

Expected project results

The expected result of the project is the development and validation of a new intraoral robotic system and educational simulator, and raising their technological readiness to TRL 8. The project will contribute to the development of innovative solutions in the field of dental medicine, increasing the research and development capacities of project partners, and creating preconditions for the market application of the developed products.

EMC Precision d.o.o. participates in the project as a project partner and contributes to the implementation of research and development activities and the development of technological solutions needed for the realization of the intraoral robotic system.
